Biography

Christopher M. Henderson is a partner at Brothers Henderson Durkin, P.S., where he brings experience in disability rights, business, and technology. His legal practice includes estate planning, advising on special needs trusts, guardianship, and federal and state benefits. He also represents clients in disputes involving these matters. Chris regularly works with beneficiaries, attorneys, and fiduciaries on settlements and related legal matters.

Before entering legal practice, Chris served as a software developer and CTO, focusing on technology solutions for individuals with disabilities. He later worked at a global law firm in Seattle, advising emerging technology companies on transactions and corporate governance.

While in law school, Chris served as symposium editor for the Washington Law Review, collaborating with late EEOC Commissioner Paul Miller on a global disability rights symposium. He edited the resulting publication, “Framing Legal and Human Rights Strategies for Change,” focused on disability rights in Asia.

Chris resides on Vashon Island with his wife, three children, and their family dog.
