Biography

Christopher M. Kite, a shareholder at Lucas & Kite, PLC, holds B.A. degrees in Rhetoric and Political Science from the University of Virginia, where he was named to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s All-Academic Football Team in 1987-88. He earned his J.D. from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond in 1992. Chris has been recognized by his peers in Best Lawyers® in America since 2004 and is listed as a Virginia Super Lawyer.

With extensive experience in workers’ compensation law, Chris frequently lectures and leads seminars on the subject throughout Virginia. He is actively involved in the legal community, serving as a member of the Roanoke and American Bar Associations, the Virginia State Bar, and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys, where he previously chaired the Workers’ Compensation section. Chris is also a member of the Virginia Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court.

    Chris Kite is possibly the hardest working attorney in the WC bar. Works 6-7 days per week and I receive emails from him at 4 in the morning . He has an excellent command of the law.
