Christopher M. Nicolaysen

As CEO and co-founder of Springs Law Group, Christopher M. Nicolaysen brings a practical, client-centered approach to personal injury law. He represents people hurt in car crashes and other serious accidents, including bicycle, pedestrian, and trucking collisions, and he takes pride in fighting for fair results when clients are dealing with pain, bills, and uncertainty. Earlier in his career, Chris built a strong legal foundation at two firms in Colorado Springs, handling family law and estate planning matters from start to finish. During his time at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, he also clerked for the Honorable Judge David L. Shakes, where he strengthened the research and writing skills that now support his courtroom-ready preparation. Chris' first career was in education, and that background still shows in how he communicates, focusing on people. He believes clients deserve honesty, teamwork, and a steady guide through the process. A Colorado resident since 2005, Chris spends time with his wife, Gretchen, their dog, Max, and his daughters, Sidney and Megan.
