Chris Meisenkothen is a partner at Early, Lucarelli, Sweeney & Meisenkothen, a national law firm based in Connecticut. Since joining the firm in 1999, he has devoted his legal career to advocating for individuals diagnosed with mesothelioma and their families. Over the years, Attorney Meisenkothen has successfully litigated hundreds of mesothelioma cases, securing millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. In 2023, he co-led a trial on behalf of a maintenance worker who tragically lost his life to mesothelioma. That case resulted in a historic $20,000,000 verdict—the largest asbestos jury award ever recorded in Connecticut.

For many years, Attorney Meisenkothen has provided pro bono legal support as U.S. counsel for AFeVA, an organization representing Italian asbestos victims and their families from Casale Monferrato, Italy. AFeVA has been actively advocating for the removal of honors awarded to a Swiss asbestos billionaire, whose former asbestos-cement factory in Casale Monferrato caused a devastating mesothelioma epidemic among workers and residents, as well as a severe environmental crisis.
