Biography

Christopher Ford is a Nevada family law attorney and a member of the Family Law Bar, licensed to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Over the years, his work has been recognized by several respected legal organizations. Martindale-Hubbell® named him a Distinguished Attorney from 2013–2018, and he was selected for Southern Nevada Legal Elite in 2011 and again from 2013–2018, placing him among the top 100 attorneys in Southern Nevada. He was also featured on Nevada Business Magazine’s Best Up & Coming Attorneys list in 2013 and 2014 and has maintained an AVVO rating since 2012. More recently, he was honored as a Top 10 Family Law Attorney Under 40 by the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys (2014–2018) and recognized by National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Trial Lawyer Under 40 in Nevada and a Top 100 Plaintiff’s Trial Lawyer in the state. Practicing locally in Clark County, Christopher has extensive trial experience and regularly helps clients explore mediation and other dispute-resolution options. Raised in Las Vegas, he earned both his B.A. in Political Science and his J.D. from UNLV. Outside the office, he and his wife, Emma, stay busy raising their three children, and he enjoys fitness, travel, and sports.
