Chris Koupal is a partner at Parker Lipman, LLP where he represents
clients in a wide-variety of personal injury and wrongful death cases
arising from automobile, trucking, motorcycle and bicycle accidents,
medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, recreational accidents,
and premises liability. Chris also handles a limited number of legal
malpractice cases arising from personal injury and wrongful death
claims.
As a lawyer, Chris has a unique ability to make genuine
connections with clients, juries, witnesses, and opposing counsel. His
professionalism and empathy for all parties involved in the legal
process consistently translates to successful outcomes for his clients.
Prior to joining Parker Lipman, Chris was a partner at another Denver
personal injury law firm. He has practiced personal injury law in the
Denver metro area for almost 20 years.
Every year since 2016, Chris has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America in the categories of personal injury litigation, medical malpractice law, and legal malpractice law. Martindale-Hubble

Chris is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers
Association and the American Association for Justice, where he is the
co-founder and co-chair of the AAJ Ski Area Litigation Group. He is also
a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association
and the Judge William E. Doyle Inn of Court. Chris regularly writes and
speaks on issues related to legal procedure, personal injury, ski
accident and medical malpractice litigation. His articles have appeared
in The Colorado Lawyer, Law Week Colorado, and Trial Magazine.
A
Colorado native, Chris graduated from the University of Colorado
Boulder, and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law
school, Chris served as a member and a general editor for the Denver
University Law Review. He also served as an extern to The Honorable
Wiley Y. Daniel, the former chief judge for the U.S. District Court of
Colorado.
Chris is proud to give his time back to the community.
He volunteers as a coach for Buddy Werner League, a recreational youth
ski racing program in Eagle County. For over a decade, Chris served on
the Board of Trustees for Havern School, a school for children with
learning disabilities in Littleton, Colorado. He enjoys spending time in
the great outdoors camping and skiing with his wife and their three
children.
