Christopher P. Taylor brings a wealth of experience to his clients as the founder of the Law Office of Christopher P. Taylor, PLLC. Raised in Bothell, Chris began his legal career as a deputy prosecutor in Ellensburg, Washington, where he gained extensive courtroom experience handling a range of criminal cases, including district court matters and juvenile and adult sexual assault cases. As an associate attorney at Lathrop, Winbauer, et al, he broadened his practice to include family law, Child Protective Services matters, criminal defense, real estate, and estate planning. Chris also served as a pro tem judge in Kittitas County district courts. In 2012, he established his own firm in Mount Vernon, focusing on family law, estate planning, and mediation. After a period serving as a deputy prosecutor, Chris returned to private practice in 2025 to focus on the legal needs of families and the local community. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, has completed specialized training in collaborative law and mediation, and is an approved family law mediator. Chris resides on Camano Island with his family and enjoys hiking, birding, and supporting the Mariners.
