Chris Jenkins is a seasoned litigator approaching 40 years of experience handling wrongful death, traumatic injuries, all types of automobile, truck and bus accidents, gas explosions, work-related injuries, falls due to defective premises, personal injury, product liability, medical malpractice, and other catastrophic losses.
Chris has extensive experience in the field of employment law, including sexual harassment, gender, race and age discrimination, retaliation, workers’ compensation, social security disability and SSI law. He has handled innumerable administrative law cases, including Chapter 13B proceedings.
In the field of immigration, Chris has handled an array of family-based petitions involving consular processing, adjustment of status, detainment, and naturalization.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications from Indiana University. He is rated AV-Preeminent® by the Martindale-Hubbell* peer review, the highest rating an attorney can receive for legal ability and ethical standards.
Chris’ volunteer service includes representing Social Security Disability and SSI clients for AppalReD Legal Aid and domestic relations clients for the Fayette County Pro Bono Program. He has previously worked as a lay counselor and weekend TV production volunteer for Southland Christian Church in Lexington. He has also served and as secretary/volunteer for the Bread of Life homeless food ministry. In his spare time, Mr. Jenkins enjoys spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, playing guitar and attending motorsports events.
