Biography

Christoper Reid, Esq. is Of Counsel at DeCotiis. He is a member of the Land Use and Redevelopment practice areas. Mr. Reid is a New Jersey land use attorney with over 20 years of experience representing planning and zoning boards, private developers, and municipal entities in connection with redevelopment, site plans, variances, and subdivision applications, as well as prerogative writ litigation. He has extensive knowledge of the Municipal Land Use Law and related state and local regulatory frameworks, and he has served his community for nearly two decades as both a Planning Board and Zoning Board member, contributing to long-term development planning and land use decisions.In addition to his private practice, Mr. Reid has held key municipal leadership roles, including Director of the Department of Community Development and Zoning Officer for Lacey Township, where he leads the construction, zoning, code enforcement, and planning and zoning boards. He also previously served as the Business Administrator for Berkeley Township, overseeing municipal operations, budgets, and capital planning, and regularly collaborating with elected officials, engineers, planners, and other professionals on complex development matters.
