Christopher T. Aumais is an accomplished attorney renowned for his expertise in a diverse range of legal domains, including personal injury, product liability, toxic torts, premises liability, breach of contract, commercial torts, intellectual property, personal injury, and wrongful death. Some of Mr. Aumais' notable settlements include a $90 million settlement against a utility company (confidential settlement); a $50 million settlement against a utility company (confidential settlement); a $30 million settlement for a bus rollover (confidential settlement); a $14 million settlement against an amusement park ride resulting in traumatic brain injury (confidential settlement); a $6.3 million settlement for a construction defect case on behalf of a homeowner’s association and multiple plaintiffs (confidential settlement); a $2.9 million settlement – Cook v. Shell Oil Co., for MTBE contamination to private property (confidential settlement); a $2.5 million settlement against an automobile manufacturer for lack of crashworthiness in a rollover incident (confidential settlement); a $1.8 million settlement against an automobile manufacturer for a seat belt defect (confidential settlement); and a $1.6 million settlement against a gate manufacturer for a defective industrial gate (confidential settlement).

Mr. Aumais has received a number of honors and awards. He was selected to be a Super Lawyers' Rising Star from 2009 to 2017. He was a finalist for the Consumer Attorneys of California for 2010 and 2018, he was an honoree for Irish Legal 100 in 2016, and finally, Mr. Aumais was selected to be a Super Lawyers' Super Lawyer from 2018 to 2020.

There are a number of verdicts under Mr. Aumais' belt, including a $56 million verdict for IT Global v. Frost et al, Breach of Contract/Fraud involving a multi-million dollar media company; a $18 million verdict for Bryan Stow v LA Dodgers involving an inadequate security/brain injury against the Los Angeles Dodgers; a $9.34 million verdict for S. Lutz and C. Brewer v Jason Mudford for a multiple motor vehicle accident; and a $3.55 million verdict for wrongful death and personal injuries in auto v. auto accident in San Bernardino County.

Mr. Aumais has been a member of the American Association of Justice since 2007. He is currently a Board Member (and Past President) of the Irish American Bar Association. He has also been a member of the American Bar Association since 2007, and has been a Board Member of the Consumer Attorneys of California since 2007. He has also been a member of the Santa Monica Bar Association, Association of Business Trial Lawyers (ABTL), the Public Justice Foundation, and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles since 2007. Mr. Aumai has been involved with the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charities since 2015, and is an Associate on the Executive Committee of the ABOTA.
