Biography

Todd Browning is a founding partner of Browning & Long, PLLC who practices in the areas of Traffic Law, DWI Law, Criminal Law, and Family Law.Todd realizes that his clients are often at the worst point in their lives when they contact him. In representing each of his clients, Todd’s mission is to give them a level of responsiveness and compassion that many attorneys do not afford their clients. He recognizes that many attorneys are competent, and some are even excellent litigators who provide aggressive representation, but Todd feels that his clients need more than just an aggressive attorney; they need compassion, understanding, and often someone to just provide a listening ear. This is why Todd makes it his focus to not only provide aggressive legal representation, but to also offer accessibility to his clients and give them the level of compassion that they need.As an Assistant District Attorney with the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office (Charlotte, NC), Todd handled thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases. Todd’s time at the District Attorney’s Office provided him with unparalleled exposure to litigating cases in a courtroom. Before being sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney, Todd also gained invaluable insight into the criminal justice system and the legal process through his nearly five years of employment with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.Todd graduated magna cum laude from Charlotte School of law with his law degree. He also completed undergraduate work at Bowling Green State University, receiving his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 2004 and his Master of Science in Criminal Justice in 2005.
