Clifford E. Lazzaro has built a distinguished legal
career, practicing criminal defense and litigation for more than three decades.
He began as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office
from 1988 to 1992, presenting over 1,000 cases to the Grand Jury and conducting
numerous jury trials. He also served as a Special Deputy Attorney General for
the State of New Jersey from 1991 to 1992, further strengthening his trial
advocacy skills.
A graduate of New York University, where he earned his
B.A. in 1981, and Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, where he
obtained his J.D. in 1985, Lazzaro is committed to providing skilled,

appeals in New Jersey on federal and state criminal matters as well as family
law matters including high net worth contested divorce cases involving alimony,
equitable distribution of marital assets, valuation of marital assets, custody
