Connor D. Deverell

Connor D. Deverell, a distinguished attorney, commenced his academic journey by earning a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in French from the College of Charleston in 2009. His commitment to using the law as a means of aiding those in need became evident early in his career. As a volunteer with C.A.S.E. Law Firm for Refugees in Perth, Australia, he assisted refugees in obtaining residency and work visas.

Furthering his legal education, Mr. Deverell earned his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2012. His dedication to social justice continued as a law clerk for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services, where he played a crucial role in helping homeless veterans secure vital public assistance and housing. During law school, he distinguished himself as a member of the Loyola Law Review, and in his final year, he was elected to serve on the editorial board of the journal. Notably, Mr. Deverell authored two articles selected for publication, showcasing his scholarly contributions.

Post-law school, Mr. Deverell briefly worked in corporate litigation before transitioning to become an associate attorney with a disability and personal injury law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2015, he joined Pond Lehocky, and his current practice is based in New York City. Throughout his career, he has achieved success in over 1,000 cases, securing Social Security disability benefits for his clients. A member of the American Association for Justice, Mr. Deverell has contributed to the AAJ journal through his publications. Beyond his legal pursuits, he actively volunteers with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New York, showcasing his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the courtroom.
