Courtney D. Lorentz

Courtney Lorentz joined Goodnow|McKay with extensive litigation experience and a passion for advocating for personal injury victims. In addition to recovering wrongfully withheld benefits from insurance companies and employers, her diverse background includes complex commercial litigation, insurance defense litigation, appellate litigation, insurance coverage actions, and prosecuting a constitutional challenge to state and federal government-run programs. Courtney enjoys representing clients inside and outside of the courtroom, including alternative dispute resolution venues, such as arbitration and mediation. She has also acted as a guardian ad litem for neglected and abused children at emergency shelter hearings and advocated on behalf of children’s privacy rights in school. Courtney is admitted to practice law before the Arizona Supreme Court, the Illinois Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.
