Attorney Courtney Quist is a seasoned legal professional with over 24 years of experience, specializing in family law, divorce, custody, and post-judgment proceedings. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, she spent her formative years in Jacksonville, Florida, attending the Bolles School, from which she graduated in 1985. Courtney went on to major in English at the University of Florida, earning her Bachelor of Arts in 1990. A subsequent move to Rochester Hills, Michigan, set the stage for her legal education at Wayne State University Law School, where she earned a Juris Doctorate in 1995. She is married to George Jay Quist, a Kent County Circuit Court Judge. Together, they have a son, Jonathan Quist, a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University. Jonathan aspires to continue the family tradition by pursuing a law degree in Fall 2025. Courtney's dedication to her specialization in family law, coupled with her personal and professional experiences, renders her an insightful and empathetic advocate for her clients.
