Craig A. Snook

Mr. Snook has practiced law in Myrtle Beach and throughout South Carolina since 1987. He is a long-time resident of Myrtle Beach having moved here in 1970 when his family returned to the United States after several international tours of duty with the United States government. He graduated from Myrtle Beach High School and The University of South Carolina Coastal (now Coastal Carolina University) with a Bachelor of Science Degree in business finance. He is a graduate of The University of South Carolina School of Law where he was selected to participate in the Federal Litigation Clinical Program and served as President, Vice-President and Membership Chairman of the International Legal Fraternity Phi Delta Phi. Following law school he was admitted to the practice of law in South Carolina and returned home to begin his legal career. Since then he has represented clients in all South Carolina state and federal courts, including the United States District Court, the South Carolina Court of Appeals and the South Carolina Supreme Court. He has represented numerous clients before the South Carolina Workers' Compensation Commission as well as in various administrative, arbitration and mediation proceedings.

In addition to 29 years of civil litigation experience, Mr. Snook has a multifaceted business law practice ranging from creation of business entities, general corporate and LLC representation, contract negotiation and preparation, internal and external dispute resolution, business acquisitions and sales, and outside counsel consultation to licensing and compliance evaluation. His business law practice has encompassed multiple and diverse areas of representation ranging from commercial real estate and development to music publication agreements. Overall his practice focuses on contract preparation and negotiation, business transactions and disputes, music and entertainment matters, civil litigation, workers' compensation, products liability and personal injury claims involving severe injuries, deaths or disabilities.

Mr. Snook is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association, Horry County Bar Association and the Workers' Compensation and Solo and Small Practice Section of the South Carolina Bar. He is a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach Masonic Lodge 353. He is also a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Freemason and a Knight Templar in York Rite Freemasonry. Mr. Snook is an accomplished musician and his recreational interests include surfing, tennis, soccer, running, computers and technology. He is a lifelong fan of South Carolina Gamecock sports as well as the Carolina Panthers, Miami Dolphins, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees. His absolute favorite is playing the guitar and playing with his dog "Rock."
