Craig E. Johnsen

Craig E. Johnsen, a supervising partner in the Workers’ Compensation Department at Mastagni Holstedt, APC, has been with the firm since 1994. He handles litigation in state and federal courts throughout California. With a background as a group supervisor and youth counselor for the California Department of Corrections (CDC), Craig is uniquely positioned to represent correctional officers and public safety employees in workers’ compensation hearings, trials, and appeals. He pursued his legal education while working for the CDC at the DeWitt Nelson Training School in Stockton, showcasing his dedication and commitment to the legal profession. Craig holds a law degree from UC Davis, and he is an alumnus of the State University of New York at Cortland. He also holds a Master’s degree in English from the University of the Pacific. In addition to his legal career, Craig has imparted knowledge as an instructor at San Joaquin Delta College and served as a legal intern for the California Correctional Peace Officers Association. His diverse experiences and deep understanding of the public safety sector make him a formidable advocate for his clients.
