Craig Peter Cherney

Admitted to practice since 1996, Mr. Cherney graduated from the University of Virginia and earned his JD from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, Craig served as an assistant editor on the Law Review. Mr. Cherney has clerked for United States Federal District Court Judge Thomas J. Whelan and also Chief Judge Judith N. Keep in the Southern District of California. While clerking, Craig participated in more than 100 federal district court jury trials. Mr. Cherney practiced at the law firm of Pillsbury, Winthrop, Shaw Pittman. More recently, Craig served as corporate counsel, manager and vice president for a publicly traded Fortune 500 real estate company and a well capitalized private equity real estate fund. He currently practices at https://highdesertfamilylawgroup.com/ Mr. Cherney is a licensed attorney in the States of Arizona, California and Nevada and a licensed California real estate broker. Craig is also licensed to practice in the United States District Courts in Arizona and the Southern District of California and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. Craig served two terms on the Alumni Board of Directors for USD School of Law, is a full District Council member of the Urban Land Institute, and has spoken at legal and private conferences throughout the United States. Craig handles matters in real estate, family law and complex litigation.
