Craig W. Baumann

Craig W. Baumann is a Minnesota-licensed attorney admitted to practice in all Minnesota state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals. He began his legal career in 1986 with the Woodbury firm Steigauf & Baumann before later opening his own practice to provide clients with more direct, personal representation. Craig has earned an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell, a distinction reserved for a small percentage of lawyers and recognized as a marker of strong legal ability and high ethical standards. He also serves the profession as an ethics investigator for Minnesota’s 19th District, reviewing complaints made against attorneys and reporting his findings to the Minnesota Board of Professional Responsibility. After completing his first term, he was asked by the chairman to serve a second. Craig received his B.A. in Political Science from Luther College and his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law. He has lived in Woodbury since 1988.
