Biography

Cushla E. Talbut focuses her practice on land development and land acquisition. She is skilled in understanding the entirety of the deal based on her experience both from a land use and zoning perspective and from a real estate perspective. She has represented developers on land use matters throughout the state of Florida, particularly in Broward County and Palm Beach County, including site plans, rezoning, comprehensive plan amendments, platting, code violations, permitting, and environmental deed restrictions. She has also analyzed hundreds of developed and developable properties from an acquisition perspective throughout the state of Florida. In addition, Cushla has counseled owners, investors, developers, and lenders in major real estate transactions both nationally and locally, including complex title and survey review, the formation of property associations and the preparation of financing documents.
