Ms. Trimmer, a registered lobbyist, represents individuals, corporations, landowners and developers to secure business and development incentives as well as entitlements including land use, zoning, concurrency and mobility fee approvals. She also provides legal counsel in real estate transactions including the acquisition, entitlement, financing, and development of all types of commercial and residential properties.
Ms. Trimmer served as a paralegal in Washington, DC for a decade before obtaining her Juris Doctorate and moving to Florida. Her practice prior to joining DMHD focused on community association law where she represented condominium and homeowners associations in all stages of governance.
Ms. Trimmer is a member of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors, currently serving as Treasurer. In 2017 she founded the JWLA Golf Academy, drawing more women into the sport. Ms. Trimmer is a member of NAIOP, Commercial Real Estate Development Association and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) where she was selected a fellow of ULI's Center for Leadership inaugural class and is a member of the the ULI Women's Leadership Initiative Committee. She is involved in the community through several charitable organizations supporting the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid through participation in Citizenship Day, Ask-a-Lawyer, Advance Directives for Seniors and Lawyers in Libraries. She is also an active member of the Junior League of Jacksonville and a volunteer for K9s for Warriors. Ms. Trimmer is currently on the Board of Directors for

Ms. Trimmer has been recognized by various organizations and by her peers as a person who has achieved a high level of responsibility in her profession. The Jacksonville Business Journal named her one of the 2019 40 under 40 brightest and promising professionals. She was also recognized by the Daily Record 40 Under 40: Realtors and Home Builders in 2019. In 2018, Ms. Trimmer was named as one of Jacksonville's Ultimate Attorneys by the Jacksonville Business Journal and as a 2018 Super Lawyers Rising Star. She has been recognized as one of the 2017 Leaders in Law by Florida Association for Women Lawyers and as a 2017 Florida Legal Elite Up and Comer. She has been recognized by the Jacksonville Bar Association as Volunteer of the Year, 2013-14 and Chair of the Year, 2015-16. Ms. Trimmer has received the Martindale Hubbell Client Distinction Award in 2015.
