Cynthia Lane

Attorney Cynthia Lane handles marital and family law cases for Mara Law, P.A. Ms. Lane is experienced with highly contested cases involving extensive litigation as well as facilitating alternative dispute resolution and the drafting of detailed uncontested matters. Ms. Lane has experience in a variety of family law actions including dissolution of marriage, child custody disputes, adoptions, marital agreements, paternity cases, domestic violence injunctions, foster care and DCF cases and post-judgment modifications. Ms. Lane is also appointed as a Guardian ad Litem in high conflict litigation cases to assist parties and the Court while advancing the best interest of children.

Ms. Lane graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL where she received a B.A. in Political Science and St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, FL where she received her J.D., cum laude. While attending law school Ms. Lane served as an intern for the Office of the Attorney General for the 17th Judicial Circuit and began working with the Florida Statewide Guardian ad Litem Program. Ms. Lane was an editor on law review and employed as a research assistant for law professors focusing on administrative law and constitutional issues. Upon admittance to the Florida Bar, Ms. Lane served as counsel for Children's Legal Services representing the State of Florida in juvenile dependency and termination of parental rights cases.
