Biography

Cynthia, a third-generation attorney from California, carries on her family's legacy as a dedicated legal professional. Her grandfather and father laid the groundwork as trial lawyers in Los Angeles and Orange County, inspiring Cynthia to pursue law. After excelling in nursing at Loma Linda University, Cynthia graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Western State University College of Law in 1999. She is a passionate advocate for survivors of sexual abuse at Kayla’s Survivors, where she combines her legal acumen with medical insight. Cynthia's trauma-informed approach offers empathetic and precise representation, making her a key figure in her firm's Sexual Abuse team.

Her illustrious career includes a partnership at Robinson Calcagnie, Inc., where she contributed to a $417 million verdict against Johnson & Johnson in a high-profile talcum powder case, earning her the CLAY award in 2017. Cynthia began her legal journey with a judicial externship at the California Court of Appeals, gaining diverse experience in medical malpractice and pharmaceutical litigation. Renowned nationally in pharmaceutical mass torts, she has served on numerous plaintiff steering committees and is a sought-after speaker at legal conferences.
