Biography

Cynthia Sonnemann brings a wealth of legal experience to Sisco-Law, where she joined as an Associate in August 2023. Originally from a Chicago suburb, Cynthia earned her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Elmhurst University, completing triple majors in Urban Studies, Political Science, and French. Her academic pursuits sparked a deep interest in the legal frameworks that shape community development and governance. Cynthia earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2002. During law school, she gained practical experience as a judicial extern for United States Magistrate Judge Morton Denlow and as an intern with Hunt, Kaiser, Bush, and Aranda. Upon relocating to Florida, Cynthia joined the Florida Bar in 2002 and began her career as a law clerk for United States Magistrate Judge Thomas G. Wilson. Her tenure in the Federal Courts extended through 2008 and resumed in 2015, during which she contributed to a wide range of legal matters, including civil litigation, criminal cases, and government agency actions.

Cynthia is an active member of the Florida Bar and Hillsborough County Bar, and she continues to provide strategic and dedicated legal representation at Sisco-Law.
