Biography

Cynthia was born and raised in the South Bay. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. is Psychology and a minor in French from UCLA. After college, she graduated cum laude from Western New England College School of Law (now Western New England University) in Springfield, Massachusetts. In her final year in law school, Cynthia was admitted as a student attorney under Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Rule 3.03 and represented tenants and consumers in Massachusetts District Court. She argued two bench trials and negotiated settlements on her clients’ behalf. During her second year in law school, Cynthia competed in the intramural moot court competition and received the Best Overall Advocate award for her outstanding oral and written advocacy skills. In 2004, Cynthia served as a judicial extern for the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
