Biography

Dairn is a senior litigation lawyer with Preszler Injury Lawyers. He was born and raised in Ontario and attended McMaster University for a psychology degree. In 1992, Dairn moved to British Columbia to pursue his legal education at the University of British Columbia and has practiced law there ever since.

Dairn was called to the bar in 1994 and has successfully resolved over two thousand claims and conducted approximately one hundred trials. He has successfully appeared at the Supreme Court of Canada and attended issues revolving around judicial discretion and the evidentiary threshold for proving psychiatric injuries at trial.

Dairn’s experience allows him to handle the most complex personal injury and insurance claims throughout all stages of the litigation, always with a keen focus on achieving fair compensation for his clients.

Dairn is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia. He is a published author in both academic and non-academic settings, including his work as a legal writer for Canada Law Book for over a decade.
