Biography

Dana Raquel Aponte is an Associate in the firm's Miami office. She primarily focuses her practice on insurance defense, premises liability, vehicle negligence, and general civil litigation.

Ms. Aponte was born and raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Psychology. She then spent a year working as a Legal Assistant in Austin, TX, before earning her Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law.

During law school, Ms. Aponte served as a Law Clerk at the Travis County District Attorney's Office in her first year, worked as a Summer Associate at Cole, Scott & Kissane after her second year, and continued clerking for the firm throughout her third year.

Upon graduation, Ms. Aponte received St. Mary's Pro Bono and Public Service Award for the exceptional amount of pro bono hours completed during her studies.

In her free time, Ms. Aponte enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hanging out on the beach, and exploring Miami’s social scene.
