Education
Daniel A. Murphy received his
Bachelors’ Degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida December
2009. Mr. Murphy attained his law
degree, Cum Laude, from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School – Tampa Bay
Campus, April of 2015.
Associations & Memberships
Daniel is the newest partner to
Goldman, Babboni, Fernandez, Murphy, and Walsh.
Mr. Murphy has been a member of the
Florida Bar since October 2015. He is
also a member of the Manatee County Bar Association and Sarasota County Bar
Association which advances professionalism, promotes practice development,
encourages public service, fosters fellowship, and supports access to legal
services for all.
Daniel
is an EAGLE member and is on the Board of Directors, Young Lawyers
Section, of the Florida
Justice Association and a member of the American Association of Justice,
organizations of trial lawyers who are dedicated to strengthening and upholding
the civil justice system. Mr. Murphy is a Super Lawyer-Rising Stars, a
rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high-degree of peer
recognition and professional achievement.
Mr. Murphy is an America’s Top 50 Lawyers, an “Elite Lawyers,” a “Top 40 Under
40” by the National Trial Lawyers Association, an “Elite Advocate” by the
American Institute of Legal Advocates, “10 Best Attorneys” in Florida by the
American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys, “Top Ten Attorney” by the
National Association of Distinguished Counsel, “Top 10 Under 40” by the

a Lawyers of Distinction and a member of the National Association of

leadership as a Civil Plaintiff trial lawyer.
Mr. Murphy is on the Florida Highway
Patrol Advisory Council, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Advisory Board, and on
the Board of the Manatee Champions Foundation, a foundation that raises money
for our local high school sports program.
He is a member of the Manasota Trial Lawyers Board, a local
organization composed of some of the foremost trial lawyers in Manatee and
Sarasota Counties. Daniel was selected
as SRQ Magazine’s Elite Top Attorney. He
is also active with local associations, such as Manatee County Chamber of
Commerce’s Young Professionals and Manatee High School Booster Club.
Daniel was invited to be on the Young
Lawyers’ panel at the FJA/Cooley Law School’s Outreach Program. Daniel advised students in a group and then
individually about all areas of preparing to become an attorney. His community activities include two
intramural sports, Softball and Flag Football, with the Manatee County Parks
and Recreation.
