Daniel Earle

Dan Earle has been practicing intellectual property law for more than twenty years. Mr. Earle has extensive experience assisting clients with the registration and protection of trademarks in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Earle’s practice includes filing and prosecuting applications, maintaining registrations and appealing decisions to the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Mr. Earle also represents clients with the enforcement of trademarks, particularly in opposition and cancellation proceedings at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Mr. Earle has represented clients ranging from individuals and small business start-ups to multi-million dollar corporations. Mr. Earle’s practice includes counseling clients with respect to the use and selection of trademarks, including providing clearance opinions and advice concerning the adoption of marks. Mr. Earle also assists clients with the enforcement of their marks, including the preparation of cease and desist letters and representing clients in domain name disputes and trademark infringement actions in U.S. District Courts.

Mr. Earle also represents clients in copyright matters, including the registration of copyrights and the enforcement and protection of his client’s copyrights.

Prior to practicing intellectual property law, Mr. Earle was a general practicing attorney, representing clients in state court in criminal, civil domestic relations and bankruptcy matters.
