Biography

For over twenty years, Mr. Kaiser has concentrated his practice primarily in the areas of labor and employment law. During that time, he has represented individuals in employment disputes with some of the world's largest corporations. Mr. Kaiser's clients are generally senior executives and officers of Fortune 500 companies, Wall Street professionals, attorneys, physicians and other professionals employed at some of the nation's premier public and private firms and governmental organizations.

Mr. Kaiser regularly litigates before courts and arbitration panels in cases involving breach of contract, non-payment of wages, bonus and commission compensation and alleged violations of non-compete or non-solicitation clauses. He also has substantial experience representing employees and executives in cases involving employment discrimination, unlawful retaliation and whistleblowing. Mr. Kaiser has successfully obtained numerous substantial monetary settlements and jury verdicts for his clients. In addition, many of Mr. Kaiser's cases have resulted in published court decisions which have broken new ground in various aspects of employment law.

Mr. Kaiser was selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of New York Super Lawyers. He is a frequent speaker on employment and litigation-related topics. His speaking engagements have included the Workshop on Employment Law for Federal Judges conducted jointly by NYU Law School's Institute of Judicial Administration and NYU Law School's Institute for Labor and Employment Law and programs on Ethics and Tactics in Mediation and Settlement Negotiations sponsored by the Alternative Dispute Resolution and Professional Responsibility Committees of New York City Bar Association.

Mr. Kaiser is a 1986 graduate of the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He received his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1989. He is admitted to the New York bar and also before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
