Biography

Daniel Lobdell represents employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters in Missouri and Kansas. Before joining McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, Daniel practiced primarily in the area of criminal law, representing clients who had been charged or accused of violating federal, state, or municipal laws.

Daniel earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Missouri State University. After graduation, he attended law school at Washington University in St. Louis where he graduated with honors. While in law school, Daniel assisted in the representation of indigent criminal defendants at the St. Louis County Public Defender’s Office as part of the school’s Criminal Justice Clinic and interned with the United States Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Missouri, where he assisted in the prosecution of federal criminal cases in the Violent Crimes Strike Force. Daniel also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Law and Economics.

Daniel lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife. In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
