Biography

Daniel T. Johnson has been a member of Schlecht, Shevlin & Shoenberger, A Law Corporation, since 1980. He has served as the firm’s Managing Shareholder for more than 25 years. Mr. Johnson’s practice extends primarily to real estate purchase and sale transactions, commercial and ground leasing, subdivision processing, real property secured financing, new entity formations, and general business transactions. Located in Palm Springs, Mr. Johnson for more than 20 years has been the recipient of the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the national directory of lawyers, indicating superior legal ability and adherence to the utmost ethical standards.

In 1976, Mr. Johnson earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also holds Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and Marshall School of Business. Respectively, Mr. Johnson has been admitted to practice law in all state courts in California as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.

Mr. Johnson is active in both the legal and local communities of Riverside County. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Riverside County Bar Association, and the Desert Bar Association (of which he previously served as Officer, President, and a Member of the Board of Directors). He previously served as an Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of Food in Need of Distribution, Inc., and an Officer and Board Trustee for the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House. Mr. Johnson is also a past member of the City of Palm Springs Economic Development Commission and the Palm Springs Gold Anniversary Commission, and served as a Director for the Palm Springs Donation Improvement District.
