Biography

Daniell Newman helps top consumer brand clients develop litigation strategies that meet both their case-specific and larger business objectives. An experienced trial lawyer and legal advisor, Daniell has represented household brands including Ford Motor Company, KPMG, Live Nation, Lotus Cars, Mars, Nissan, Ocean Spray Cranberries, PepsiCo, Starbucks, Tropicana, Welch’s, and Whole Foods as well as many of the world’s largest medical device, pharmaceutical and health care companies in commercial litigation matters.

A member of the team previously named by The American Lawyer as the Products Liability Group of the Year, Daniell has a wealth of experience in products liability and toxic tort defense. He is part of the national and trial counsel team for the world’s largest manufacturer of medical devices and currently represents numerous multinational pharmaceutical and medical device companies in litigation throughout the country. He also has over a decade of experience defending consumer product manufacturers in personal injury/toxic exposure cases, including the successful defense of many cases involving talcum powder containing products and alleging asbestos contamination. Daniell frequently serves as national expert witness team lead for clients who are facing a significant volume of similar product and device cases, regularly building and managing large teams of world-class expert witnesses while preparing them for trial.

Daniell also represents many of America’s best-known food and beverage companies in litigation throughout the country, defending claims of false advertising under the federal Lanham Act and state consumer protection statutes. He also represents major automotive manufacturers in litigation throughout the country. In addition to his litigation experience, Daniell is a trusted legal advisor, with clients that include a rapidly growing consumer food brand who turn to him to handle all of their legal matters.
