Biography

Danielle Perez is an associate at the firm’s Miami office where she primarily practices insurance defense. Prior to joining Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson, Danielle represented homeowners and businesses across Florida in first- and third-party property damage and coverage disputes.

Danielle earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law, where she gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for Circuit Judge William Altfield and served as the Student Articles Editor for the St. Thomas Law Intercultural Human Rights Law Review. In 2021, Danielle received national recognition from the Order of Barristers for her achievements in mock trials. Additionally, Danielle completed an attorney fellowship in disaster lawyering at Equal Justice Works’ Disaster Resilience Outreach Clinic in Washington, D.C.

Danielle is a driven attorney with a keen interest in both the complexities of the legal system and the dynamic evolution of the law.

Barbara enjoys spending time with her family and friends, baking, running, and traveling.
