During undergrad, he was enlisted in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. He deployed to areas such as Afghanistan, Cuba, Japan, and Australia in his nearly 10-year period of active duty service while receiving accolades such as the Combat Action Ribbon, Commendation Medals, and Achievement Medals.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree, Danny separated from the U.S. Navy and moved to the South Florida region to attend law school at St. Thomas University. During law school, he was a member of the Moot Court team and served as a Judicial Intern in the 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida.
