Biography

Danny Ramrattan is an associate in the Foreclosure, Title and Real Estate Litigation Group and is admitted to practice in the State of New York. Mr. Ramrattan has extensive experience in foreclosure litigation. Coming from the defense side, Mr. Ramrattan’s specific expertise lies in anticipating and curing possible defenses prior to the commencement of a foreclosure action. He is also versed in navigating and defeating the cumbersome and highly technical affirmative defenses and counterclaims often asserted by borrowers in foreclosure proceedings. During law school, Mr. Ramrattan was an Executive Articles and Notes Editor for the N.Y. Real Property Law Journal. He was a member of the Domestic Violence Litigation Clinic with the New York Legal Assistance Group where he represented clients in Family Court. Mr. Ramrattan also interned with the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in the Rackets Division. Mr. Ramrattan received his J.D. from St. Johns University School of Law and has B.A. from the City University of New York – Baruch College with a double major in History and Political Science where he won the Excellence Award in History.
