Darin Colburn's initial encounter with the legal system, during his parents’ prolonged divorce from ages six to twelve, shaped his empathetic and strategic approach to family law. Drawing from his personal experience, Darin often advises his clients to "take a deep breath and don’t let the past stop you from building a better future," a reflection of the counsel he wished his parents had received. Over two decades later, Darin's parents are friends, but they both regret the exorbitant legal fees that could have been avoided through early settlement—wisdom Darin now imparts to his clients.Darin employs a strategic, solution-oriented approach to law, prioritizing client satisfaction through early goal achievement, cost-effective negotiation, and settlement. His understanding of cost-benefit analysis stems from his undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona, where he graduated Cum Laude with a Business Economics degree. In law school, Darin excelled in legal writing and trial advocacy, graduating Magna Cum Laude and ranking in the top 5% of his class.

Despite his strong negotiation skills, Darin remains a trial lawyer at heart, recognizing that powerful courtroom advocacy enhances negotiation leverage. Born in Central Phoenix, Darin is an avid reader, amateur cook, aspiring chess master, and enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Claire.
