Biography

Dave C. Jones is an experienced trial attorney and estate litigator at Hackard Law.

He first began his practice as a public defender in Tulare County. Through his career Dave has handled a wide range of cases, including landlord/tenant disputes, contract disputes, real estate fraud, and criminal appeals.

After graduating Thomas Jefferson Law School in San Diego, he served as deputy public defender in Tulare County and won nearly 2/3 of all his jury trials. Jones also represented indigent criminal defendants at the California Court of Appeals, where he challenged convictions at no cost to the defendant. His experience in pre-trial negotiations, motion practice, jury selection, and trials in the courtroom are all invaluable to defendants.

Dave has since focused on estate and trust disputes with special attention devoted to elder financial abuse and undue influence. He is a graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyer’s College.
