Attorney David A. Darrin joined Schlecht, Shevlin & Shoenberger, A Law Corporation in 1992 and is now a shareholder in the firm. Mr. Darrin’s practice includes representing individuals and companies throughout Riverside County in business and real estate transactions and litigation, employment disputes, business formations, corporate governance, and other matters. He is licensed to practice law in all state courts in California, the U.S. District court for the Southern District of California, and in the Federal Ninth District of the Court of Appeals.
Mr. Darrin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Society from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1986, graduating with high honors. He then went to work in business management before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of California at Davis, where he graduated in the top twenty percent of his class. While in law school, Mr. Darrin served as co-chairman for problem and writing and legal brief grading with the Moot Court Board.
Mr.
Darrin is a member of the Desert Bar Association; the American Bar
Association; and the Business Law, Real Property Law, and Labor &
Employment Sections of the State Bar of California. He has been
active in the community, volunteering his time with the local legal
aid clinic teaching Law Day to approximately 100 students each year
in the Palm Springs Unified School District. He is also a certified
coach and referee for the American Youth Soccer Organization in Palm
Springs. In the past, Mr. Darrin has served as a commissioner on the
Palm Springs Parks and Recreation Commission and as President of the
Palm Springs Chapter of Lions Club International.
