Biography

David Yon has practiced primarily in the area of insurance, administrative, regulatory, and business law for over thirty years. During that span of time he has provided advice concerning compliance with state and federal insurance laws and rules, formation and acquisition of companies, product development, residual market issues, rate filings and reinsurance transactions. In addition to helping clients avoid regulatory problems, he also assists clients in resolving disputes through negotiation, court challenges, administrative hearings, and arbitration proceedings. David’s experience includes life and health issues as well as property and casualty matters.

David began his law practice in 1980 with the State Treasurer and Insurance Commissioner’s Office.
