David Adam Giaro, Esq.

Mr. Giaro joined Tumelty & Spier, LLP in May of 2012 and is an invaluable asset in the preparation for our civil litigation matters, including appellate practice. Mr. Giaro obtained his Juris Doctor from the City University of New York School of Law. Mr. Giaro focuses his practice on representation of clients in personal injury cases and civil rights violations.

Mr. Giaro interned at the EEOC (U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) and the DHR (New York State Division of Human Rights), assisting in cases involving workplace harassment and discrimination.

Prior to joining Tumelty & Spier, LLP, Mr. Giaro was named a "LaunchPad for Justice Fellow" to the New York State Courts Access to Justice Program, under Deputy Chief Administrative Judge Fern Fisher, where, under a student practice order, he represented indigent clients in Kings County Housing Court.

Mr. Giaro served as a Marshal of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International, Murray Chapter, between 2009 and 2010.

Mr. Giaro has been selected to the 2022 New York Metro Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice. Only 2.5% of attorneys in the New York metropolitan area receive this distinction. Mr. Giaro was also selected to the 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017 New York Metro Rising Stars list.
