David Arthur Singleton

Attorney David Singleton serves clients at Blackburn Romey in Fort Wayne, where he is known for strong written advocacy and courtroom argument. A Warsaw, Indiana native, David earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Frederick M. Supper Honors Program and gained experience in public service while working with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration. He went on to graduate with highest honors from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. David’s role at the firm centers on motion practice and appellate work, and he has argued and briefed matters across a wide range of courts, from Indiana trial courts to the Indiana Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. His work includes significant published cases such as Prime Ins. Co. v. Wright (Ind. Ct. App. 2019; transfer denied 2020; later 7th Cir. 2023), Shirey v. Flenar (2017), and Martin v. Ramos (2019). David has earned multiple Super Lawyers Rising Star selections and was named a National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 civil plaintiff attorney. He is admitted in all Indiana state courts, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Seventh Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court, and he belongs to several state and local bar organizations.
