Biography

David Paradis has practiced as a trial lawyer since 1985. David specializes in civil trial work in state and federal court involving disputes arising from commercial transactions, real estate transactions and loans, easements, boundary lines, elder abuse, wills and trusts. David is also hired by insurance companies to represent people and businesses in claims arising from negligence, product liability, employment and professional malpractice.


David has been active in the Oregon State Bar since 1985. He has served as the Chair of the Federal Practice and Procedure Committee, as a member of the Oregon Council on Court Procedures, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Committee, the Local Rules Committee for the United States District Court of Oregon, and he currently serves on the Board of the Debtor-Creditor Section of the Oregon State Bar. He also serves on the Board of Magdalene Home for homeless teen moms.


David earned his law degree from Willamette University School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude in 1985. He attained his undergraduate degree in Spanish and Political Science from Southern Oregon State College where he graduated Cum Laude in 1982.


In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children camping, hunting and fishing.
