Biography

Attorney David C. Beavans is founder and managing attorney of The Law Offices of David C. Beavans, located in San Diego, California. He is dedicated to providing the best in legal representation, and delivering exceptional value to each and every client he serves.

Mr. Beavans received his B.A. from the University of California at Davis. In 1995, George Washington University awarded him both an MBA and a Masters in international affairs. He then spent several years with the U.S. State Department overseeing small and medium business development in Central and Eastern Europe.

Pursuing his passion for justice and his drive for competition, Mr. Beavans returned to law school and graduated cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. While at Thomas Jefferson, He was asked to write an article on corporate privacy rights for the prestigious Thomas Jefferson Law Review Journal. He was president of the award winning Alternative Dispute Resolution competition team, and is a founding member of the TJSL Sailing Club.

Mr. Beavans is licensed to practice before all California courts including the Supreme Court, and has the rare designation of Certified Family Law Specialist. Becoming a Certified Specialist takes years of dedication to one's chosen specialty and proof of comprehensive knowledge by passing a rigorous examination process. The honor of earning a Certified Family Law Specialist designation is rare, encompassing only 0.8% of all active California attorneys as of 2017. This designation, dedication, and experience translates to a higher level of proficiency for every attorney under his leadership. Mr. Beavans is also an Adjunct Professor at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, teaching Federal Civil Procedure. Mr. Beavans is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association.
