Biography

David Hardaway, the founding attorney at The Law Offices of David C. Hardaway, is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. With a strong focus on criminal and family law, David is known for his passionate trial advocacy. Originally from Dallas, he met his wife, Janice, while studying at the University of Arkansas School of Law. Her San Marcos roots eventually drew them to establish his law firm there in 2010. David is actively involved with the National College for DUI Defense, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the DUI Defense Lawyers Association. He is also a distinguished member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, an honor granted to less than 10% of Texas attorneys. David's dedication to his clients is reflected in numerous legal awards and his unwavering commitment to continuing education. Outside of work, David enjoys watching Razorback football and Jayhawk basketball, volunteering in his community, engaging in recreational sports, and cherishing time with Janice and their daughters, Adelaide and Willa.
