Biography

David Earl Josey is an Associate at our firm’s Fort Myers office. His areas of practice include a variety of civil litigation. Whether defending his client in lawsuits from motor vehicle accident or premises liability cases, his attention to the details of each particular case enable him to best represent his clients.

Before moving to Florida to begin his legal career with Cole Scott & Kissane, Mr. Josey attended law school at Ohio Northern University Claude W. Pettit College of Law where he earned book awards for achieving the top grade in six diverse courses, made Dean’s List every semester, and graduated in the top 10% of his class.

While in law school, Mr. Josey was a teaching assistant for Constitutional Law courses and interned with a solo practitioner of family law in his hometown of Niagara Falls, NY. Prior to law school, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in History from Niagara University.

The same work ethic and skills that have allowed Mr. Josey to succeed and thrive in his endeavors thus far are now being put to use to represent each and every one of his clients.
