Biography

David E. Orron has more than 30 years experience providing legal counsel and advice to individuals and small business owners. Mr. Orron concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, including: elder law, estate tax planning, wills and trusts; probate; probate litigation; and estate administration. He is a past president (2005-2006) of the Mercer County Estate Planning Council.

David’s practice also includes residential and commercial real estate transactions, small business representation and municipal law. He has been the municipal attorney for East Windsor Township since 1996.

Mr. Orron has a long-established presence and standing within the many active adult communities in the Monroe Township/Cranbury area, as well as the banks, trust companies, real estate agencies and financial services companies that service those communities. In addition to advising clients on strategies to reduce or avoid estate and gift taxes, David assists clients and their children in managing the numerous financial, medical and family issues associated with aging, incapacity, wealth management and wealth transfers.

David is a 1981 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science. He earned his law degree in 1984 from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit. He joined the firm in 1984 and has been a partner since 1989.

David has served on the board of directors of a number of local charitable, professional and business organizations including Family and Children’s Services of Central Jersey, Hightstown-East Windsor Chamber of Commerce, and the Mercer County Estate Planning Council. He and his wife, Dara, live in East Windsor and have two grown children.
