Biography

David F. Ryder is a 1982 graduate of Gettysburg College. He received his juris doctor from Washington College of Law American University in 1986. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, the Court of Appeals of Maryland and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Mr. Ryder is a member of the Bar Association of Montgomery County and the District of Columbia Bar Association. For more than 30 years, Mr. Ryder has represented various national insurance companies and their insureds in a broad range of litigation in both Federal Court in Maryland, most State Court jurisdictions in Maryland and in the District of Columbia. He has extensive experience in personal injury, property damage, motor vehicle accident, premises liability, fire and other accidental injury claims. Mr. Ryder has also appeared before the Maryland Insurance Administration in defense of first party failure to act in good faith complaints under current Maryland law. He is well-known and well-respected and has earned a reputation as being extremely professional and personable as he zealously defends his clients.
