Biography

David joined Whitelaw Twining as a summer student in 2017 and has since articled with the firm before becoming an associate in 2019. David practices general insurance litigation, including subrogation, transportation, property damage, and professional liability matters. He has appeared on behalf of clients in matters before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.

David is an effective advocate with experience working for both local and global businesses. This helps him to understand his clients’ needs. His creative strategies, practical approach, and forward-thinking enable him to save his clients time and money while obtaining results that align with their goals.

David worked in the technology sector before becoming a lawyer. While studying law, David served on the board of the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers (British Columbia). He is passionate about exploring new restaurants and travel destinations, and is an avid follower of tennis and soccer.
