Biography

David Holmes joined Cross & Simon, LLC in 2010, and he focuses his practice in the areas of corporate and commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation and business transactions. Before joining Cross & Simon, David was an attorney at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP, practicing primarily in their corporate counseling group, where he specialized in the fiduciary duties of corporate directors and the Delaware corporate code.

David received his B.A. degree in History, cum laude, from the University of Delaware and his M.A. degree in History from the University of Wisconsin. He obtained his J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was a James Wilson Fellow in Corporate Law and served on the Law Review.

David is admitted to practice before the Delaware Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. David has published a book and an article on Irish history. He lives in West Chester, Pennsylvania with his wife Laura and their three children.
